The Gourmet Pixel office has some avid fans of Formula One, which inspired us to create one of our first apps for iPhone. The app was received warmly and shortly after launch we got a call from Apple, who told us that they were impressed by the app and wanted to promote it throughout the iTunes App Store across the globe! They just needed us to send promo artwork - so send artwork we did, and the app shot to the number 1 slot in the sports charts in a number of countries, including the UK, Germany and Japan.
